Installation & Set Up Service for any Eufy Doorbell (doorbell not included)
Your expert Technologist will do it all for you. Professional physical installation, Eufy App and HomeBase (if needed) set up, settings fine tuned for your home, testing, and an easy to follow tech-walk through for your confidence.
Which Install & Power Type Should I Choose?
- Battery - your doorbell will be powered by its rechargeable battery (estimated install time: 1 hour)
- Plug In - only possible if you have a plug socket within 3 metres of your door. Price includes the adapter. (estimated install time: 2.5 hours)
- HomeBase set up - If your doorbell came with a HomeBase or you bought one for extra storage (adds 0.5 hours to estimated install time)

We cannot currently install hardwired doorbells using existing or new wiring, these services will be added soon! Please email us to let us know if this is what you need.
Which Eufy Doorbells Is This Service For?
We can install every Eufy doorbell. As we are a service-only business, please remember to buy your device from your preferred retailer first.

We can install these to run on the rechargeable battery (wire-free), or connected to a plug-in adapter for constant power.
We cannot currently "hardwire" doorbells with new or existing wiring.
If you have bought a Eufy Minibase Chime (for the E340, C31 and C30 doorbells) we can set it up to connect to your doorbell, included within the install price.

What's Included & How It Works
Appointment Booking
- Once you've placed your order we will email you by the end of the next working day so you can choose your Technologist and Install time
- Look out for an email from info@happysmarthomes.com
- Please Contact Us if you have not received your booking email
Physical installation
- Agreeing where the doorbell will be installed
- Mounting, drilling and installing the doorbell
- For Battery power - fitting the battery in place
- For Plug in power - drilling and running the wire from the nearest indoor plug socket to the doorbell, the cable will be run neatly along skirting boards / corners with cable clips or trunking wherever possible, and holes filled cleanly
Set Up, Connecting & Testing
- Setting up your Eufy Account and the Eufy App on your phone(s)
- Configuring the Doorbell settings to best work for your home
- Connecting any Chimes and Smart Speakers or Displays
- Testing to ensure everything works as intended
Tech Walk-Through
- How to answer the door from your phone
- How to view live video and talk 2-way
- What notifications you'll receive about movement and doorbell rings
- How to save and share videos
- How to charge and change batteries if your doorbell is battery powered
Things Your Technologist Will Need From You
- Please have the doorbell you bought ready with all parts it came with
- Your WiFi name and password (you must have working WiFi, see below for more info)
- Some of your time, so we can download the app on your phone and register your account (as well as the same for anyone else who needs to be set up)
- Your phone will be needed while the doorbell is set up and tested
- Some of your time once install and set up has been done, so we can show you how it all works and ensure you're confident and happy
WiFi Requirement
- Smart Doorbells need a reliable internet connection to work
- Most UK homes have fast enough WiFi, but please check your speed and have a look at our guide to WiFi

- No subscription required - unlike Ring, Eufy doorbells store all videos on built-in memory, a microSD card or a Eufy HomeBase

How much does it cost?
Our install services are priced based on the time they take to complete, which is usually determined by the type of install (e.g. battery power is quicker as no cables are quired). We pay our Technologists a fair rate to ensure you receive a good service.

How long does install take?
Install time varies by Install & Power Type. Typical times are 1 hour for a battery doorbell, and 2.5 hours for a plug in doorbell. Once you've picked your Technologist you can ask them for more information.
What happens if something stops working?
You’re protected by our Make it Right Policy. If something stops working, please contact your Technologist who will be able to help.
