We’re Happy Smart Homes

We want more people around Oxfordshire to benefit from brilliant tech like smart doorbells, cameras, speakers and lights.

Tech can improve your home security, make your life more convenient, and save you time. Companies like Ring, Eufy, Amazon, Google, and many more launch brilliant new devices every year.

But it takes time, tools and knowledge to be able to install and get this tech working properly. So a lot of people miss out.

Our local Technologists love tech. They've learnt the skills required, setting up loads of different tech in their own homes. They know how to install and fine tune tech from loads of different popular brands. Most importantly, they know how to show customers how to use their tech with confidence.

Hear from our Founder

Hi, my name is Daniel and I started Happy Smart Homes.

I’ve always had a keen interest in technology, and I’ve spent a lot of time and effort upgrading our home with all sorts of tech. But I found it took a lot of research, tools, troubleshooting and patience to get it all working.

I hired electricians to install a Smart Doorbell and Thermostat for me. It cost a lot and all they did was physically install them, I was left to figure out how to set them up and get them working properly.

I realised if it's this difficult, people will be missing out, and there must be people who want a tech expert to install their tech for them.

So in 2024 I started installing tech in people's homes, and customers really loved the service!

When researching the tech myself I had seen other people were experts, or learning to be one. I put an advert out to see if anyone would be interested in putting their skills to use, and was blown away by the response!

So I set up Happy Smart Homes. The place where these people - who I call Technologists - can offer their skills to the people who value the convenience of an expert doing it for them.

I received first class service from both Luke and Daniel for the installation of my ring doorbell. It was my first experience of this type of bell and Luke explained everything he was doing very clearly. Happy Smart Homes have just completed a complex Ring doorbell and Chime, Ring Spotlight Camera and Echo Show installation (all configured into existing mains) at my in-laws home (they are in their 90’s and pretty infirm and not at all tech savvy).
