Here’s how it works.

Step 1: Find your Install Service(s), pick your preferred dates & Checkout

First, find the Installation Service for the tech you've bought.

To make this easy for you we've organised services by Product Category (like Doorbells, Cameras, and Alarms) and by Brand (like Ring, Eufy and Nest). We charge a fixed price for each service, so there's no uncertainty for you.

If you haven't bought your tech yet, take a look at our guides, where we help you choose the best tech for your home.

Once you've found your Installation Service, select any specific options (like power source, more info here) and choose up to 3 preferred installation dates from the calendar.

Add as many Installation Services as you need to your cart (you get £15 off every 2nd service, automatically applied to your cart), then pay securely through our simple online checkout. It only takes a few minutes.

Step 2: Choose Your Vetted Technologist

Once you've placed your order, we'll email you the profiles of Technologists in your area who are certified to install your tech and available on your preferred dates - look out for an email from info@happysmarthomes.com. You simply reply with your choice of Technologist and time slot.

We'll then confirm your full Installation appointment including contact details for your chosen Technologist.

Step 3: Your Tech is Installed for you!

On the day of your Installation, your chosen Technologist will confirm their arrival time.

They'll deliver a complete service, including:

  • Professional Installation - all devices will be physically installed in locations recommended by your expert Technologist and agreed with you
  • Full App Setup & Testing - your Technologist will help you register any required accounts (e.g. with Ring for a Ring Doorbell), set up and configure your tech to best work for your home, and test to ensure everything works as intended
  • Providing a Tech Walk-Through - you will be shown everything you need to know to use your tech confidently; such as answering a doorbell from your phone, arming and disarming an alarm, or playing music on a speaker

Your Technologist will need some things from you on your installation day:

  • Your WiFi name and password
  • Some of your time, so they can download any necessary app on your phone and help register your account
  • Your phone will be needed while your tech is set up and tested
  • Some of your time once install and set up has been done, so they can show you how it all works and ensure you're confident and happy
