Your expert Technologist will do it all for you. Professional, quick and reliable installation, app set up, connecting & testing, and an easy to follow tech-walk through for total confidence.
Which Installation Size & Siren Installation Should I Choose?
Select the Ring Alarm Pack size you bought from Ring, or the total number of Motion + Contact sensors you require installing.
If you have a Ring Siren you need installing, please choose either:
- Required - battery powered: the D batteries it comes with last 2-3 years (adds 1 hour to estimated install time)
- Required - plug adapter powered: to provide constant power your Technologist will drill through the wall to plug the siren into a nearby indoor plug socket, price includes the adapter (adds 2.5 hours to estimated install time)
Note that your siren can only be installed in a location where there is safe footing for a ladder.
What Do I Need To Know?
Our Ring Alarm Installation & Fitting Service is an all in one package. Your chosen Technologist will complete:
- Physical Installation of all parts and sensors
- Set Up, Connecting & Testing
- Tech Walk-Through
Note that your siren can only be installed in a location where there is safe footing for a ladder.

What's Included & How It Works
Installation Booking
- Once you've placed your order we will email you by the end of the next working day so you can choose your Technologist and Install time

- Please Contact Us if you have not received your booking email
Physical installation
- Agreeing where the Base Station, Keypad, Sensors & Siren (if applicable) will be installed
- Mounting all parts in place
- Drilling, mounting and installing the Siren (if applicable)
- For Siren - Plug Adapter Power - drilling and running the wire from the nearest plug socket to the siren, the cable will be run neatly internally and externally with cable clips or trunking wherever possible, and holes filled cleanly
Set Up, Connecting & Testing
- Setting up your Ring Account and the Ring App on your phone(s)
- Configuring the Alarm settings to best work for your home
- Testing to ensure everything works as intended
Tech Walk-Through
- How to arm and disarm the alarm, using the keypad and your phone(s)
- How to check your alarm status while you're away
- How to silence the siren (if applicable)
- How to add family members or regular visitors (e.g. cleaners / pet care)
- How to change sensor batteries
Things Your Technologist Will Need From You
- Your WiFi name and password (you must have working WiFi, see below for more info)
- Some of your time, so we can download the app on your phone and register your account (as well as the same for anyone else who needs to be set up)
- Your phone will be needed while the alarm is set up and tested
- Some of your time once install and set up has been done, so we can show you how it all works and ensure you're confident and happy
WiFi Requirement
- The Ring Alarm need a reliable internet connection to work
- Most UK homes have fast enough WiFi, but please check your speed and have a look at our guide to WiFi

How much does it cost?
Our install services are priced based on the time they take to complete, which is usually determined by the type of install (e.g. battery power is quicker as no cables are quired). We pay our Technologists a fair rate to ensure you receive a good service.

How long does install take?
Install time varies with the number of sensors and whether you need a Siren installing. Once you've picked your Technologist you can ask them for more information.
What happens if something stops working?
You’re protected by our Make it Right Policy. If something stops working, please contact your Technologist who will be able to help.
